NLA pleased with government buy-to-let backing
A speech by a government minister in favour of the buy-to-let
sector has been welcomed by the National Landlords Association
Speaking last weekend at the NLA conference in Birmingham, housing
minister Iain Wright said the sector is a "great tool to help house
the people of this country" and that he hoped to see it "not just
survive over the coming months and years but thrive".
He also stated that the government will not introduce any
legislation that will harm the interests of good landlords.
Welcoming the speech, NLA chairman David Salusbury said it marked a

this year showed that during that period the number of renters rose
